As part of the City of Chillicothe 2017 Street and Alley project, paving begins tomorrow, Tuesday, August 22nd on Walnut Street between Main and 7th Streets.
Applewood will also be closed, but residents will be able to enter and exit the area.
Residents are encouraged to watch for no parking signs. Property owners will be allowed access to their properties but may be subject to some delay. Work will proceed each day until it is deemed appropriate to stop.
The motoring public is advised to plan for alternate routes in these locations. Please be aware that large slow-moving vehicles will be in the area. Interim City Engineer, Richard Johnson asks motorists to use caution, be patient and obey all traffic control, including construction flaggers while in or near the construction area.
Some dust and disruption of routes to and from destinations should be expected.
