An Adams County woman died in a single vehicle crash Saturday.
The Portsmouth Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol reports at 2:20pm they received the call of the crash at milepost 6 on US 52 in Stout.
38-year-old Renee Rogers of Manchester was westbound on US 52 in a 2000 GMC Sierra 2500 when she drove off the left side of the roadway at a high rate of speed and struck a tree.
She was pronounced dead at the scene by the Scioto County Coroner’s Office.
Post 73 was assisted at the scene by Nile and Washington Volunteer Fire Departments, Nile Squad 1 and Portsmouth Ambulance.
