An accused local killer has been sentenced to life without parole...elsewhere.
The Chillicothe Gazette is running an article from their sister paper in Las Cruces, New Mexico, reporting that Jesse Hanes was sentenced there yesterday.
Hanes killed a policeman in New Mexico last summer...while on the run as a suspect in the July 2016 shooting death of Ted Timmons near Londonderry.
The Gazette also reportined on 30-year death row inmate Larry Landrum. His execution has been delayed for another two years.
Governor John Kasich last week updated the state's entire execution schedule after recent court action. Landrum was convicted in 1986 for the murder of Harold White.
