NFL Week One Preview

Week One of the 2017 season hits full swing today with a 12-game slate. 

It was supposed to be 13, but the Dolphins and Buccaneers matchup in Miami was postponed due to Hurricane Irma. 

"Sunday Night Football" pits NFC East rivals opposite each other as the Giants head to Jerry's World to battle the Cowboys.  The defending NFC-champion Falcons have the opportunity to put Super Bowl 51 in the rear-view mirror at the Bears. 

Rookie quarterback DeShone Kizer makes his debut when the Browns host the Steelers.  Second-year QBs Carson Wentz and Jared Goff look to show strides after up-and-down rookie seasons.  Wentz and the Eagles are at the Redskins, while Goff and the Rams play the Andrew Luck-less Colts in LA. 

The Bills face the Jets in Buffalo, the Ravens are at the Bengals, the Cardinals travel to Ford Field to play the Lions and the Titans take on the Raiders in Tennessee.  

A battle of NFC favorites sees the Seahawks square off with the Packers at Lambeau Field,and Cam Newton hopes to return to form in the Panthers' opener versus the 49ers in Santa Clara. 

In Monday Night Football action tomorrow, Adrian Peterson and the New Orleans Saints visit his old team in Minnesota, followed by a nightcap between the Rams and Broncos in Denver.
