Circleville Police have released a photo of a suspect who robbed the U.S. Bank on East Main Street, Wednesday at 10:20am. A police press release states the subject walked into the bank and demanded money from a clerk.
The white male had light color hair, was wearing sunglasses, black shirt, black leather jacket and blue denim jeans.
The same man is also wanted in connection with the robbery of a bank in Lancaster that took place a little more than an hour following the Circleville bank robbery. The suspect entered the Fairfield National Bank on West Fair Avenue around 11:31 a.m. wearing the same clothing. He handed a teller a note demanding money and then fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.
