Applications for this year's Fall Festival of Leaves Pageants are now available.
Applications are being accepted for the annual Scholarship Pageant for age groups 15 to 18 and the Prince and Princess Pageant for age groups 5 to 7.
The deadline to apply for the Scholarship Pageant is Friday, September 22nd with a deadline of Wednesday, October 11th for the Prince and Princess Pageant.
Contestants for the Scholarship Pageant must attend or be a graduate from either Adena, Chillicothe, Greenfield, Hillsboro, Huntington, Paint Valley, Southeastern, Unioto, Western, or Zane Trace high schools.
Applications for each pageant can be obtained at Johnson's Dairy Queen and McFadden Pharmacy in Bainbridge, and at She Said Yes and Brick Haven Spa in Chillicothe. They can also be downloaded online at fallfestivalofleaves.com
There is an entry fee of $10.00 for the Scholarship Pageant and a $5.00 entry fee for the Prince and Princess Pageant.
The Scholarship Pageant will be held Thursday, October 19th at the Paxton Theatre. The Prince and Princess Pageant takes place on Saturday, October 21st at the Bainbridge Methodist Church.
The Fall Festival of Leaves runs from October 20th to October 22nd.
