The Chillicothe Ross League of Women Voters will hold its local Candidates’ Night on Tuesday, October 3rd. It’ll take place at the Ross County Service Center at 6:30 p.m.
This year, Candidates’ Night will focus on candidates for Chillicothe City Council as well as other judicial and administrative offices for the city.
Contested races for Chillicothe City Council include the First Ward Council race between Democrat Beth Neal and Republican Daniel Wiltshire, Second Ward Council between Republican Aaron Hines and Democrat Brandon Lawson, Third Ward Council between Lana Fairchild (no affiliation provided) and Democrat Alicia Gray, and Fifth Ward Council between Republican Trent Fannin and Democrat Joel Fleurima.
Election Day is Tuesday, November 7th. The last day to register to vote in the election is Tuesday, October 10th. Early Absentee voting begins Wednesday, October 11th. Early In-Person voting begins Thursday, October 12th.
