Though tax season is still a ways off, the United Way of Ross County is preparing for an influx of residents in need of free tax filing assistance. United Way is recruiting volunteer tax prep personnel to help area residents file their taxes and claim benefits.
The agency will be conducting information sessions during the months of November and December for individuals interested in volunteering.
The information session will be held at United Way Office at 69 East Water Street in Chillicothe on the following dates:
Monday, November 13th from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Tuesday, November 20th from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Saturday, December 2nd from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Wednesday, December 12th from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
