US 50 west of Cabbage Hill near Sunrush Boulevard was closed for about an hour Friday after a two-vehicle injury crash shortly after 9:30am.
The Highway Patrol reports that 25-year-old Madison Vickers of Chillicothe was westbound in a 2011 Kia Rio. Vickers lost control, traveled over the centerline, and was struck by a 1998 Chevrolet Lumina, driven by 74-year-old Norma Schrake of Chillicothe.
Both drivers were transported to Adena Medical Center and then Grant Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Vickers' passenger, 1-year-old Bella Vickers, was transported to Children’s Hospital but found to not be injured.
Schrake had five passengers. 26-year-old Megan White of Chillicothe was transported to Adena Regional Medical Center with serious but non-life threatening injuries. Four-year-old Kayleigh Simpson was transported to Adena Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Paisley Coy, a 6 month old, was transported to Children’s Hospital for precautionary reasons.
25-year-old Dillion Coy of Chillicothe and 4-year-old Landen Simpson were not injured.
