Man Sentenced For Impersonating A Cop

A Chillicothe man is going to prison for impersonating a cop and stealing a car.

The "Chillicothe Gazette" says 34-year-old Glen Burgess pleaded guilty Friday to aggravated robbery, impersonating a police officer and carrying a concealed weapon.

The Ross County prosecutor says Burgess confronted a homeless couple parked outside his home last June, brandished a gun and pretended to be a police officer.  He then ordered them out of the car and drove off in it.

On Friday, Burgess was sentenced to six years in prison.
