A few more details have come out about a Ross County fugitive being shot dead after a police chase in northern Kentucky.
Police say 27-year-old Kiser Sturgell of Jackson, Ohio, and 23-year-old Ashley Jenkins of Lucasville, Ohio were shot to death after a chase in Flatwoods, Kentucky, just south of Ironton Thursday night. Sturgell was wanted on a warrant in Ross County.
Witnesses said the chase went through several yards before the suspect's vehicle crashed.
Gunshots could be heard on cell phone video taken by a local resident as the chase ended right outside his door. Neighbors said they heard about 20 shots.
