Monday evening, the board of education of Chillicothe city schools spent two-and-a-quarter hours in executive session...but took no action afterward.
Before going into their closed-door meeting, allowed by state law, the board announced it was about an employee or official, and that they "may be taking action."
But board president Steve Mullins instead told news media that they would meet again, 4pm next Monday, in a special session in the board office.
