The Greater Chillicothe-Ross County Master Trails Planning effort is seeking public input to assist in building the most representative plan for the community.
Sessions will be held at the following sites from 6:30pm-8pm.
-Bainbridge - Paxton Theater - Nov. 29
-Frankfort - Sunroom at the Brick - Nov. 30
-Richmond Dale - Jefferson Township Hall - Dec. 5
-Adelphi - City Building - Dec. 6
-Chillicothe - Carlisle Building - Dec. 11
This planning effort is seeking to establish Ross County as a destination for its trail system to assist with creating infrastructure for health improvement, increased tourism and economic development. This plan is to highlight the current assets and create priorities for further development of the five non-motorized trails: Hiking, Equestrian, Rails to Trails, Water and Mountain Biking.
Public input will include a short presentation of current efforts and benefits, followed by a public question and answer session.
