(24/7 News Source) -- Pike County sheriff's deputies are filing more charges as they investigate the disappearance and possible murder of a 77-year-old woman. Branden Friend was arrested this week for abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence.
Deputies say Friend is responsible for the fire that left apparent human remains in a fire pit.
Testing is underway to determine whether the remains are those of Bernice Hayslip, who vanished last year.
