The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a one vehicle injury crash that occurred in Ross County, Monday afternoon. At approximately 1:46pm, 86-year-old Phyllis E. Hess of Clarksburg was driving her car southbound on Veterans Parkway, when she crossed the center line and drove off of the left side of the roadway. She struck an embankment and overturned.
Hess was transported to the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center by Med-Flight for her injuries.
Union Township EMS, Scioto Township EMS and Union Township Fire Department responded to the scene to assist.
