The National Christmas Tree Association says the 2008 Financial Crisis is taking a toll on Christmas Tree Prices this year. They say trees are a little more pricey this year due to a shortage caused by growers planting fewer trees during the crisis.
Fortunately the increase in prices hasn't affected local tree suppliers. After making calls to several retailers from Pickaway to Jackson County, and from Fayette to Hocking County, they say their prices for real Christmas Trees have not increased over last year.
