Firewood is still a popular way to heat your home. If you are buying or selling firewood, make sure you are doing so in the proper proportions. Ohio Agriculture Director David Daniels says firewood should be bought or sold by the cord.
Daniels says if you are buying or selling by the truckload, it needs to be priced by the ton.
The Ag Director also urges you to buy and burn firewood close to where you live, due to invasive species that could be transported into our area.
