The Public Warning System at the former Piketon A-Plant will be sounding on Wednesday, December 20th, as part of scheduled maintenance and testing at the site. The testing will take place between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Officials say the test will include the activation and sounding of the six exterior pole-mounted sirens that surround the site. A public address announcement will also be made over each siren speaker prior to activating the siren stating: “This is a test.”
