A two vehicle injury crash occurred on U.S. Route 50 near Maple Grove Road in Ross County, Monday.
76-year-old Barbara Dalton and 35-year-old James Burkitt, both of Chillicothe, were driving eastbound on US 50 when Dalton stopped as she was attempting to turn left onto Maple Grove Road. She was struck in the rear by Burkitt’s vehicle.
Burkitt sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene. Dalton was mechanically extracted from her vehicle. She was transported by the Twin Township EMS to Adena Regional Medical Center and later transported to Grant Medical Center in Columbus for her injuries.
