The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a one vehicle injury crash that occurred New Year's Day on Musgrove Road near Lancaster Road in Ross County.
At 6:11am, a car driven by 19-year-old Mark Fout Jr. of McArthur, was traveling east on Musgrove Road when Fout traveled off the left side of the road and struck a utility pole.
Fout had three passengers in the vehicle. 19-year-old Alec Booth of McArthur, sustained serious injuries and was transported to Adena Regional Medical Center and was later transported by Medflight Ground to Grant Medical Center. 16-year-old Kaitlen Danner of Londonderry sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Adena Regional Medical Center. 17-year-old Vicente Mtennota of Wellston was uninjured, but was taken to Adena Regional Medical Center for precautionary measures.
Fout sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Adena Regional Medical Center by Liberty Township Squad, and was later transported to Grant Medical Center by Medcare.
Alcohol and failure to use seat-belts are considered a factor in the crash.
