A burglary suspect was arrested shortly after being caught in the act, late Sunday night. According to a Ross County Sheriff's report, deputies were called to a house on the 200-block of Clayburne Boulevard at 10:24 p.m. when the victim, who was watching live video surveillance footage of her house through her cell phone, reported an unknown person was taking numerous items from the residence.
Authorities arrived shortly after and arrested Willard P. Allison, 47, of Frankfort, after tracking his foot prints in the snow from the backyard of the house on Clayburne to the 207 connector.
Allison was reportedly found with items belonging to the homeowners, and the house had been ransacked. Some of the stolen items were reportedly recovered by a bush near the house.
According to jail records, Allison was arrested for aggravated burglary and violation of parole on December 1st, 2017; he was released on a $50,000 bond.
He also pleaded guilty to burglary in 2013 and was sentenced to a 3-year-prison term for a similar situation on Orr Road.
