The Fayette County Commissioners have approved the placement of an additional tax levy on the ballot for the May primary election.

The levy would be an additional three-year 1.3-mil tax that would provide for ambulance and medical services throughout all of Fayette County.

Townships in Ohio counties are struggling to keep volunteer fire and ambulance services going, due to the lack of personnel.
