Two Receive Minor Injuries in Three Vehicle Crash, South of Waverly

Two people suffered non-life threatening injuries in a three-vehicle crash just south of Waverly, Monday.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Breana Cobern, 24, of Catlettsburg Kentucky, was traveling north on U.S. 23 shortly before 11:00 a.m. when her vehicle traveled across the median divide an collided with a southbound vehicle operated by Roberta Daniel, 50, of Waverly. Cobern's vehicle was then struck by a southbound semi-truck operated by Christopher Kimber, 61, of Franklin Furnace.

Cobern and Daniel were transported to Adena Pike Hospital for treatment. Mr. Kimber was uninjured.
