Cause of Death Determined for Chillicothe Teen Found Dead in October

A cause of death has been determined for a teenage Chillicothe resident whose body was found off an east end alley way in October.

The Chillicothe Gazette reports the Montgomery County Coroner's Office has ruled that 17-year-old Jason A. Bartley died as a result of acute alcohol intoxication. The determination was expanded on by the Ross County Coroner to include Benzodiazepines Abuse due to the presence of the anti-anxiety medication, Xanex, in his system.

Bartley was found dead off an East Second Street alley on October 18th. The investigation into his death remains open.
