A two-vehicle crash involving a collision between a mother and her teen son occurred in Ross County just before 12:45 p.m. on Friday. Authorities, with the Ohio State Highway Patrol, say Trevor Gray, 16, was driving northbound on Blain Highway when he went off the road, overcorrected, and crashed into a southbound vehicle driven by his mother, Heidi Gray, 42.
Trevor Gray was taken to Adena Regional Medical Center but later transferred to Nationwide Children's Hospital. Heidi Gray was taken to Grant Medical Center, according to a press release.
Authorities say both individuals suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
