The Ross County Committee for Dangerous and Wild Animal Response Commission has voted to disband after learning the State of Ohio will dissolve the committees.

The state will dissolve the DWART Plans and Committees on February 20th following legislation approved by the Ohio General Assembly.

The planning committees at the state and local levels were mandated by state law after wild animals were turned loose in the Zanesville area several years ago, before the owner of the animals committed suicide.
