It was a night of milestones for the Southeastern Girls Basketball Team, Saturday. Their 80-36 win over Zane Trace ties the SVC record for consecutive girls conference wins at 38, with the Westfall Lady Mustnags between 1980-83.
The Lady Panthers will attempt to set their own standard when they travel to Huntington Tuesday, in a game to be broadcast on 94 Country WKKJ.
The other news story from the game was Southeastern's Ella Skeens cracking the 2,000 career point mark, as she had 38 points for the game. Skeens becomes the fourth player in Ross County High School basketball history to accomplish the feat.
Kristal Tharp of Zane Trace is the all-time leader with 2,255 points, Southeastern's Kelly Downs is second at 2,235 points with Beth Mettler of Zane Trace next at 2,221.
