Adena & SSU Volleyball Star Reflects on Hall of Fame Career

Adena High School graduate Haley Halcomb-Merritt was one of four people inducted to the Shawnee State University Athletic Hall of Fame, January 27th.

Halcomb, who was an All Ohio Volleyball player at Adena, went on to establish setting records at Shawnee State in her four year career there.

In her four years of high school varsity volleyball with the Warriors, she was a three-time All SVC selection, All Ohioan and played in two State Final Four appearances.

With the Shawnee State Bears, she played in three NAIA National Tournaments and became their all-time assist leader.

Chillicothe High School graduate Keegan Rathkamp, was also inducted Saturday for his career exploits at the conference and national level in cross country at Shawnee State. (Pictured first to left in above photo)
