For the third year in a row, the Southeastern Lady Panthers will claim no worse than a share of the SVC Basketball Championship. Southeastern saw to that Thursday at home, with a convincing 77-25 victory over Paint Valley.
Ella Skeens led the charge, scoring 41 points in the win.
Southeastern holds a one game lead over Unioto, with only one to conference contest play, while Unioto has two SVC games remaining.
The Lady Shermans host Huntington in a make up game Monday, which will be broadcast on 94 Country WKKJ. Then, Unioto hosts Southeastern for what they hope will be a chance at a title share with SE, if they get past Huntington. The Lady Huntsmen proved to be a tough test for Southeastern earlier in the week, as the Lady Panthers dodged the upset 60-55.
The Thursday Southeastern at Unioto match-up will also be broadcast on WKKJ.
