State Representative Gary Scherer says the Ohio House passed a bill that would help fund projects that provide broadband to underserved regions.
House Bill 281 would establish the "Residential Broadband Expansion Program."
It would provide grants to local governments for projects targeting the “last-mile” of connectivity to residences.
