Ohio Governor John Kasich is calling the release of a controversial memo on the Russia investigation a disservice to our country.
The memo from Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee accuses top officials of the FBI and Justice Department of abusing surveillance authority in an effort to target the Trump presidential campaign.
Kasich says we must maintain oversight of those agencies, but it has to be done in a bipartisan manner, not for partisan reasons or political gain.
He also says the independent investigation into Russia's meddling in our election must continue unimpeded by outside forces from either Congress or the president.
