First-half real estate tax payments for Ross County are coming due. Ross County Treasurer, Jerry Byers, says first-half tax payments will be due Friday, February 16th.
Missing the deadline will mean a 10-percent penalty on all payment received after the due date, all except for payments that are postmarked by the due date.
To help residents meet the deadline, the Ross County Treasurer’s Office will offer extended hours next week. The office will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. next Monday through Friday.
