Police in Circleville are working to identify the suspect of an attempted robbery.
They say a 6 foot tall, white male, between the ages of 25 and 30, entered the Lancaster Pike Kroger shorty before 6:00 p.m. on January 28th. After lingering in the store for a while, the man approached the counter and passed a note to the clerk demanding money. The clerk walked away from the counter and the suspect fled from the store empty handed.
At the time of the incident, the clerk said the man had some sort of metal contraption on his lower teeth.
Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction. Anyone with information that may help authorities identify the suspect is encouraged to contact Circleville Police.
