New Defense Budget Kind to Wright-Patt

(24/7 News)  --  The Pentagon's proposed budget includes a massive building project at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.  The spending plan calls for a 116-million-dollar expansion of the National Air and Space Intelligence Center.

Air Force officials say the current facility is too small and outdated to meet the needs of modern warfare.  Wright-Patt would also see more spending on acquisitions and research.
