The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a five vehicle injury crash which occurred on US Route 23 near Main Street in Chillicothe, Friday morning.
At semi-truck driven by 35-year-old Allen Mills of Willis, Michigan was making a lane change on US 23 near Main Street at about 6:05am, when he struck a car driven by 25-year-old Keri Lawson of Chillicothe. Ms. Lawson’s car struck a guardrail after the impact and her car became disabled in the roadway.
A third vehicle, driven by 53-year-old Barbara Holmes of McArthur struck Lawson's car then struck a guardrail. A fourth car driven by 27-year-old Amy Wallen of Chillicothe struck the Lawson car and was side swiped by a fifth car driven by 44-year-old Alexis Oliva of Londonderry.
Ms. Holmes was transported to Adena Regional Medical Center by Chillicothe EMS with non-life threatening injuries. There were no other injuries reported.
The crash remains under investigation.
