SR 124 in Pike County Reopens

S.R. 124 in Pike County has been reopened, just east of S.R. 772, following its closure on Friday due to high water.

Officials with ODOT say S.R. 220 has now been closed at River Road, just east of Waverly, due to flooding from the Scioto River. Motorists will be detoured via S.R. 32 and U.S. 23.

"Motorists are reminded that crossing any closed route is strictly prohibited, and they should avoid traveling on roadways which remain open but where standing water may be present," ODOT released in a written statement issued Saturday.

In Pickaway County, Canal Road between S.R. 104 and Mill Road was closed on Saturday due to high water, according to the Pickaway County Engineer.
