Following an increase in threats affecting school districts across the county after the deadly rampage in Florida, authorities in Pickaway County say they will thoroughly investigate any and all claims that pose a threat to student safety. They say anyone that makes such a threat, will be held accountable.
The Pickaway County Sheriff and the Circleville Police Department are asking both students and parents refrain from reposting or sharing rumors discovered online, and to instead contact authorities.
Several teens throughout the nation have been charged with felonies after making threats to schools in the two weeks since the killings in Parkland.
