A southern Ohio grassroots movement dedicated to connecting urban and rural voters will be holding a community forum this Tuesday in Chillicothe that will offer voters an opportunity to hear from, and speak with, two of the candidates running for Ohio Governor.
Current State Senator and former House Minority Leader, Joe Schiavoni and attorney and activist, Constance Gadell-Newton will be available to meet with attendees ahead of Ohio's November gubernatorial election. Schiavoni is running for the Governorship on the Democratic ticket. Gadell-Newton is running as a member of the Green Party.
Appalachians Rising will host the forum from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. the Tuesday, March 6th at 903 Hopetown Road. That's located behind the North River Place Apartments off North Bridge Street.
