Pilot Flying J Recordings Released

(Chattanooga, TN)  --  Recordings filled with racist and misogynistic comments by former Pilot Flying J executives are being released to the public.  They're heard here talking about Cleveland Browns and Oakland Raiders fans.

The federal judge who presided over a trial involving Pilot Flying J employees in Chattanooga called the tapes "vile" and "despicable," but added they reflected on former president Mark Hazelwood's character.

The recordings, in which former vice president John Freeman can also be heard, were released to the public yesterday.

Both Hazelwood and Freeman were among the employees convicted of shortchanging trucking companies of rebates on fuel.
