Ross Annual Spring Cleanup Starts

The Trash

Ross County Litter Control & Recycling is looking for more volunteers to help with their spring cleanup.

Judi Manion of the Ross County Litter Control & Recycling Office says they have supplies for helping volunteers cleanup area ditches, walk/bike trails and parks.  They continue to have their "Adopt A Road" program, where a group will commit to clean-up along a two-mile stretch of roadway a couple of days per year- for a two year period.

The Annual Spring Cleanup Campaign runs now through May 31st. The Earth Day Scioto Waterway Cleanup this year is April 21st, starting at 9am.

Various opportunities are available for helping clean-up litter and participating in recycling programs. Contact the Office of Litter Control at 772-5326 or email littercontrol@rosscountyohio.gov to get more information.
