Huntington School Receives Another Threat

For the third time in the last couple of weeks, a threat of violence was made against Huntington Local Schools. Officials say a note was found prior to students arriving Tuesday morning.

Elementary students were returned to their homes, but after the building was cleared by bomb dogs used by the Ross County Sheriff, middle and high school students returned to class.

In an interview on iHeart Media News last month, Sheriff George Lavender said any adult or student found to be making threats against a school or any institution will be arrested.

Huntington School will conduct a public forum at 5:30pm Wednesday to discuss the issues at Huntington as well as the district's emergency plan.
