Restrictions on the sale of guns is something Ohio lawmakers are keeping an open mind on.
The Ohio Senate will soon open debate on a bill that supporters say could prevent deadly shootings. The so-called "Red Flag" bill was introduced Wednesday by two Democratic lawmakers, which would impose a 14 day waiting period in certain situations.
Ohio House Speaker Cliff Rosenberger says he's not opposed to something similar to this bill.
The measure would allow family or police to take guns from people considered a danger to themselves or others. Supporters say the bill has the support of Governor John Kasich.
