Public Health Week Brings Important Message

The Ross County General Health District is promoting National Public Health Week, to detail what they do locally for better health in the area. This comes a year after the district experienced major budget cutbacks in 2017.

Head Sanitarian Ben Avery says they are bouncing back from that "tough year", and are now seeing the funds coming in from a recently approved tax levy.

Avery says they serve as a collaborator with other health entities in the community, to get the best public health for residents of Chillicothe and Ross County.
