Chillicothe Firefighters were called to an east side industry fire Monday morning. Barber Spring, formally known as Union Spring, caught fire in its ventilation system according to Chillicothe Fire Department reports.
Three employees were treated as they suffered smoke inhalation. An estimated $50,000 damage was done to the building, which was quickly extinguished by firefighters.
The plant manufacturers spring coils for rail cars.
