National Weather Service officials confirmed yesterday that tornadoes did touchdown in Madison, Franklin and Perry counties.
An 85-mile-an-hour tornado shredded two barns Tuesday along Roberts Mill Road near London. The Perry County twister damaged two mobile homes and a barn while uprooting several trees near Thornville.
Repairs are underway at hundreds of Grove City homes after this week's tornado. The National Weather Service says a twister with winds of up to 110-miles-per-hour hit the city Tuesday, causing significant damage to 450 homes and downing nearly two-dozen utility poles.
American Electric Power officials say 600 Grove City customers will remain without electricity until Sunday.
