A new milestone has been accomplished by the Paint Valley High School Band.
In March of 2017 the Paint Valley High School Concert Band made district history by becoming the first from the school to qualify for OMEA State Large Group Contest, and received an Excellent (or number 2) rating.
Ray Johnson of the Paint Valley Bands reports, this March, the band again qualified for state competition, and made district history once again by being the first concert band from Paint Valley High School to receive a Superior (or number 1) rating.
He says this is a huge accomplishment for the band program.
