The City of Chillicothe is set to begin its newly established Curbside Yard Waste Collection service on Monday, May 7th.
Residents wishing to take advantage of the new service must request their yard debris be picked up. To request pickup, simply call the Chillicothe Yard Waste Line at 740-773-9715 or send an email to yardwaste@chillicotheoh.gov You will then need to provide your name, address and telephone number.
Once you’ve registered for the service, all leaves, grass and other yard waste must be placed in biodegradable brown paper bags. Sticks or branches must also be bundled and should be no more than four feet long and two feet wide. The debris then needs to be placed in the same area where your garbage is collected.
Yard waste will be collected within 48 hours of registering.
