Teays Valley has been no stranger to the State Softball Final Four in recent years, and they are headed back to Akron Firestone Stadium in what's become almost a home-away-from-home.
The Lady Vikings beat Olentangy 9-5 Saturday at Ohio State University, claiming their third Division 1 Regional Championship in the last four years.
Teays Valley won the state title in 2015, then state runner-up the following year.
The (24-3) Lady Vikes will face Massilon Perry at 5:30pm Thursday, May 31st in the State Semis.
Teays Valley is the second Pickaway County team to advance to the State Final Four this spring, following the Circleville Baseball squad that advanced Friday.
