Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have sent fans into a frenzy. The exes were spotted chatting at pal Lily-Rose Depp’s party and according to the Daily Mail, who posted pics, there are “reports of a reconciliation.”
Naturally, Twilight fans flipped out and took to Twitter to express their excitement over the possibility of a rekindled romance.
“Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart were photographed together for the 1st time in 5 years and my inner Twihard is really showing,” one person on Twitter wrote, while another added: “Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart at the same party hanging out with the same friends in 2018 I thought this day it would never come, my shipper game is stronger than ever.”
The couple, who dated on and off for years while costarring in the Twilight franchise, hadn’t been seen together in years since the shocking photos of Stewart cheating on R.Patz hit the internet.
After the scandal, K. Stew issued a public apology. “I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected,” she said at the time. “This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him. I love him. I'm so sorry."
R.Patz went on to date and get engaged to FKA Twigs. The duo have since called off their engagement and K.Stew has been linked to Victoria Secret model Stella Maxwell.
