Two people were air lifted from the scene of a three-vehicle crash in Hocking County, Monday.

According to the Athens Post of the State Patrol, the accident took place shortly before 3:00 p.m. Monday when a juvenile driving a Toyota Prius collided with the rear of a motorcycle stopped in a construction zone on State Route 328.

The operator of the motorcycle, Lafe Barnett Jr., 36, had been directed to stop in the northbound lane of 328 by a construction flagger.

The collision overturned Barnett's bike, pushing it off the right side of the roadway. The Prius then continued on striking the flagger, Lora Parker, 49.
